Service Delivery (Section 6)

WOTA is pleased to offer an exciting new webinar series this year specific to ethics for the occupational therapy practitioner. Each session will welcome special guest speakers from the AOTA ethics committee. The session will follow the newly released book, Everyday Ethics & the Occupational Therapy

This is the 6th session in this Ethics series. This will focus on section 6 of the Code of Ethics with topic areas of communication.

Speaker Information:

Brenda Kennell, MA, OTR/L, FAOTA  

        has been an OT for over 45 years, working in a multitude of settings and with clients of all ages. Brenda graduated with her BS-OT from UW Madison in 1976.  She served on the AOTA Ethics Commission for 6 years, the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy for 12 years, as the Continuing Education Chairperson for the North Carolina Occupational Therapy Association, and is a reviewer for ACOTE. Brenda is the co-editor of the new AOTA book Everyday Ethics & Occupational Therapy, and author of several chapters.  She has published and presented locally and nationally about ethical concerns and justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
