Key Note Speaker: Christine Cayo, OTR, C/NDT
Title: Remaining Curious
Summary: Feeling burnt out or like you just can’t keep up? Lacking energy? Challenges with work/life balance? This session will provide tips and tricks for staying engaged, enthusiastic, and hopefully employed! Ideas, thoughts and proven strategies learned through aging in the occupational therapy workforce will be shared. The goals of this presentation is to share experiences, provide hope, connect with each other, and to have fun!
Bio: Christine Cayo, OTR, C/NDT graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 1981. She has extensive experience in occupational therapy pediatric practice working in a variety of settings with children of all ages, and many diagnoses. Christine has taught workshops and certification courses nationally and internationally for the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association (NDTA) since 2001. She is a pediatric occupational therapy instructor, active status, for NDTA. She continues to work with children and their families at Children’s Wisconsin in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and consults within the outpatient department there as well. She is also a task force volunteer for NDTA.
