WOTA Everyday Ethics: Session 4:

Professional Civility (Section 7)

WOTA is pleased to offer an exciting new webinar series this year specific to ethics for the occupational therapy practitioner. Each session will welcome special guest speakers from the AOTA ethics committee. The session will follow the newly released book, Everyday Ethics & the Occupational Therapy

This is the 4th session in this Ethics series. This will focus on section 7 of the Code of Ethics with topic areas of professional civility. 

Speaker Information:

Leslie Bennett

Leslie Bennett, OTD, OTR/L, is an Associate Professor and Academic Fieldwork Coordinator at Russell Sage College and earned her doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University.  Dr. Bennett is the current chair of AOTA's Ethics Commission and is focused on educating members at state and national levels on ethics and empowering them to negotiate ethical conflicts. Dr. Bennett has been part of the commission since fall of 2019.
