TOPIC: Ethics of Social Media: Personal? Professional?

DAY/DATE: Tuesday, September 15, 2026

TIME: 6:30 - 7:30 PM

Presenter: Wayne L Winistorfer, MPA, OTR, FAOTA

Wayne graduated with a BS-OT from UW Madison in 1977, and MPA from UW-Oshkosh in 1998. His current goal is to continue working as an OT for at least 50 years!

Wayne has worked in public, private, academic and for profit settings, with much of his career in administrative and leadership roles.

Wayne served as AOTA Ethics Committee Chair, and Member-at-Large, for a total of 7 years in the "20-teens". Wayne also served as Co-Chair of the hospital ethics committee(s), where he was employed, for over 25 years.

"Mostly retired", Wayne continues work as a PRN Staff OT in Acute Behavioral Health at Ascension Mercy - Oshkosh. Wayne has also been an Adjunct Faculty member for the OTA Program at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton since the mid-1990's.

Wayne is continuing his ethics education by auditing classes in the UW-Oshkosh Philosophy Department.
